About Vanessa Grace

Vanessa Grace started writing poetry 10 years ago to express and renew her faith. Today she seeks to publish her poetry in multiple genres, one of which will be a collection of religious poetry.

Grace was awarded four editor choice awards from the International Library of Poetry and is published in collective books of poetry. Nobel House selected her work for publication and included one of her poems in the Favorite Memories collection in 2006.

Grace graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a degree in journalism and media studies with an emphasis in integrated marketing communications and a minor in communication. She is studying for her Masters in Theology at John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family Studies at Catholic University of America.

Grace converted to Catholicism when she was a teen and has been involved with the Life Teen program since. Starting as a teen leader, Grace has served in youth ministry for eight years.  Her aspiration is to be a writer, inspirational speaker and distribute her Catholic poetry and songs.

Through poetry, Grace gets to the core beliefs and false agreements that hold us back. She hopes her poetry will inspire others to realize the power that lies in the healing power of Christ.
